Dear Mr Cameron,

On 7 June 2011 you said the following: “But let me also be clear, no: we will not be selling off the NHS, we will not be moving towards an insurance scheme, we will not introduce an American-style private system.

In this country, we have this most wonderful, precious institution and idea.

That whenever you’re ill, however rich you are, you can walk into a hospital or surgery and get treated for free. No questions asked. No cash asked.

I will never put that at risk.”

  1. Absolutely spot on. At least three Tory ministers should have been properly investigated for embezzlement. 1) Duncan-Smith who invented the fictitious job for his millionaire wife: 2) Vaizey who invoiced personal furniture to his office: and, 3) Hunt, who expected us to believe he didn’t understand the expenses system, thereby allowing him to embezzle thousands of pounds to which he was most definitely not entitled.

  2. A splendid letter to the worst Prime Minister I have ever seen… and I include Thatcher in there. This loathsome mendacious toff really does believe what Kitty Jones so brilliantly said… that the poor are created by the Welfare State.
