Accountable Care Systems/Organisations are mechanisms for denying care by choosing to treat only patients who represent “best value for money” – ie are cheapest to treat, and most likely to have the best health recovery as a result of treatment. The Next Steps document keeps banging on about how they are going to enable “demand management” ie reduce patients’ access to care.”

Politics and Insights 
The Trojan horse approach. It seems we never learn. Systems of government will always be corrupted by the same old greedy criminal scumbags. The dance is going entirely the wrong way at the moment. A push back is required. Which is why things like your blog are so damned valuable.
Talking of scumbags, I’m writing a book and I mention the government, pharmaceutical industry and welfare services. I’m wondering what kind of disclaimer I should put in it because I’m new to all of this. Would you happen to know anything about this Kitty?
